Our program is built around the concept that children are born ready to learn. As caregivers, we strive to create a learning environment that is safe, stimulating and encouraging. The following principles:
Children develop knowledge of their world through active interactions with caregivers, peers, materials, and events.
Learning is sequential, building on prior understandings and experiences.
Learning proceeds at different rates in each area and each child; children will show a range of skills and understandings in any one area of development.
Learning in each area is interconnected. Young children learn best through experiences, which incorporate several areas of development.
Learning is embedded in a culture. Children learn best when their learning activities are rooted in a familiar cultural context.
Learning begins in the family, continues in early care and education settings, and depends on parent involvement and caregiver guidance.
Teaching the children the Gospel of Jesus Christ to better prepare them to be loving and forgiving individuals.
Foundational Partnerships
The foundational root of positive and effective learning is partnering with Parents and Guardians of the little ones we are entrusted with. Mutual respect between children, team members, and our parents/guardians is the heart of our program. By nurturing strong relationships, providing safe and caring environments, mutual open & productive conversations, and committing to best practices in early childhood education, we help children learn to value community, indulge their curiosity, and build confidence for life. This is only done together; we welcome that partnership with you.
Emphasis on Age-Appropriate Curriculum
Our curriculum (Learning Beyond Paper) empowers children as change-makers, invites them to explore and create, helps them learn to build community and most importantly to have fun with play-based learning experiences. Our classrooms are designed around your child’s unique needs, and our curriculum is built from the latest research in early childhood development to help little minds grow! We also incorporate bible stories and prayer time as fundamental and key components of our curriculum to mold a well-rounded developing child.
Right now, your child’s brain is growing faster than it ever will in their whole life, making amazing connections every second. Our staff are continually challenged and trained in providing creative teaching moments for our little learners. In addition, we implement faith-based principles, teaching children age-appropriate bible stories, lessons of love and hope, as well as praying with our children prior to meals.
