Our center is state-licensed and regularly inspected to make sure everything meets or exceeds standards, including child-to-teacher ratios and safe facilities. Our center is subject to inspection by state and local health, fire, and licensing. Regulations and inspections pertain to staff qualifications, the facility and playground, nutrition standards, health and safety matters, record-keeping, and child-to-staff ratios. We participate in the Step Up to Quality (SUTQ) which is a voluntary quality rating and improvement system administered by the Ohio Department of Education and the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. SUTQ recognizes and promotes learning and developmental programs that meet quality program standards for licensing, health, and safety regulations. The program standards are based on national research identifying standards which lead to improved outcomes for children. We do report child level data to the Department of Children and Youth.
